Dr. Jordan W. Yip

Optometrist

Dr. Jordan W. Yip was born and raised in beautiful Alberta, Canada. He attended the University of Alberta where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Sciences with a minor in Biological Sciences. He then moved to San Antonio, Texas to complete his Doctorate of Optometry degree, graduating with honors, at the University of Incarnate Word. During his optometric schooling, he was invited to join Sigma Kappa Honor Society, was a member of the Private Practice Club, Contact Lens Club and also participated in a medical mission trip to Yucatan, Mexico.

Dr. Yip is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He specializes in primary care with experience in the management of glaucoma, refractive surgery such as LASIK & SMILE, cataract pre and post-operative management, diabetic eye disease, dry eyes and many others.

Dr. Yip prides himself on excellent patient care, making sure to explain all diagnosis and treatment clearly and to empower the patient in their eye health. He also loves being able to offer the most cutting edge technology available to his patients.

Although a proud Canadian (go Oilers!), he has adopted sunny Texas as home and is excited to give back to the DFW-area.

​​​​​​​Outside of the office, he enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and 2 dogs, playing ice hockey, golf, and traveling.
